Case Management for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment in California
Explore the Benefits of Case Management Today
Case management is a great way to facilitate coordination, planning, and communication of mental health and addiction treatment benefits. Creating an atmosphere of extra attention to detail so your affairs, goals, and life are kept in order while going through treatment.
At Clear Behavioral Health, case management is included as a vital part of our treatment programs.
Mental Health Case Management at Clear
In our mental health treatment programs, you will work with a case manager to help you coordinate any school or work-related leave and providing coping and life skills you can implement immediately.
Case management services alleviate the stress of knowing your life needs to be adjusted when entering a treatment program. Having someone who is completely on your side and focused on your transition in and out of the program can bring immense comfort.

Case Management for Addiction
Case management is also an important part of an addiction treatment program. Your case manager can teach you relapse prevention skills, coping skills for everyday struggles, and help you resolve common issues. They will know the process you are going through, as well as substance abuse recovery, and be able to guide you through your treatment journey.
The benefits gained from case management are long-lasting and can help alleviate feelings of overwhelm during your life transitions into and out of the programs.

What to Expect in Case Management
You’ll attend case management once a week, which are individual sessions where you can work through issues in your personal life. Case management sessions differ from your therapy sessions in the sense that you aren’t getting to the root of your problems, but you are finding solutions to your everyday struggles.
You also work with your case manager to prepare for your next steps in treatment, whether it’s transitioning to a different level of care, completing the program, or needing assistance to reintegrate into your daily life.
The Benefits of Case Management
When case management is involved with other mental health services, it yields better treatment outcomes.
Support and Communication
The support and communication with work or school makes the decision to continue treatment even easier.
Learn Life Skills
All of the life skills you learn can improve your quality of life, not only while in the program, but when you leave as well.
Help With Life Transitions
Case management helps you with the transition to other levels of care or back into everyday life and equips you with healthy coping skills you can utilize.
Learn to Advocate for Yourself
Case management also provides a great opportunity to enhance your communication regarding treatment, so if something isn’t working, you can advocate for yourself.
Self-Empowerment
There’s plenty of empowerment learned through your sessions and self-management that can be continued after you complete treatment.
Continuity of Care
At the end of your treatment program, your case manager can be sure you have continuity of care, whether that be attending another program or seeking one-on-one therapy.

Case Management and Our Full Continuum of Care
Case management is supportive of your journey, no matter what programs you go through. If you start in a residential program, then move on to an outpatient program, a case manager will support you through both.
At Clear Behavioral Health, we have an integrated treatment approach, where we reconnect your body and mind. Additionally, this means making sure you have support during the transitions.
For mental health and addiction conditions that do not require elevated treatment through an inpatient or outpatient program, our sister brand, Neuro Wellness Spa, provides individual therapy sessions through online and in-person talk therapy available throughout California.
Conditions we treat
What to expect with our PHP and IOP programs
