What to expect with our PHP and IOP programs
Entering one of our IOP programs will begin your therapeutic journey. IOP gives you the tools needed to navigate your condition, build healthier relationships, and learn useful coping skills.
In each program, you will work with a case manager, an individual therapist, a group therapist, and a holistic practitioner, for the perfect treatment schedule to heal your symptoms related to your condition. These programs include:
Individual therapy
Weekly sessions with a therapist to help you explore the underlying causes of your condition, identify your triggers, and develop coping strategies to last a lifetime.
Medication management
If necessary, our clinicians will prescribe and monitor medications to manage your condition and support healing.
Case management
Weekly case management meetings will help you to develop life skills, build healthy daily routines, and support reintegration into your daily life.
Group therapy
Daily group therapy sessions help you to build a supportive network of peers and explore therapeutic techniques like CBT and mindfulness.
Family Therapy
We will engage the family with therapy sessions to speak about familial issues, learn coping skills for triggers, and how to better understand and support each other.
Holistic groups
Yoga, meditation, sound baths, art and music therapy and other holistic therapies are practiced daily to restore balance between your mind and body.
Teen Specific Treatment
Our teen programs offer a range of tailored components designed to meet the unique needs of adolescents, including:
Multi-Family Therapy Groups
Our weekly multi-family groups provide rich psycho-educational and experiential learning to help your family heal as a whole.
These groups are the backbone of our community-based treatment approach, as families can connect with other families also in the program.
Weekly Family Updates
Your teen’s counselor schedules weekly phone calls with parents and loved ones during the treatment program.
We discuss how your teen is progressing, any concerns you may have or that our clinical team is experiencing, and field out any questions during treatment for peace of mind while your teen heals.
Academic Support
As a primarily after-school program, your teen can continue taking classes while attending our program. To promote balance and support, an educational consultant works with you twice a week to help your teen with their schoolwork. Additionally, our team can coordinate with schools to advocate for home-hospital accommodations or other specialized academic plans.
