Abigail Sangco, AMFT
Biography
Abigail is an associate marriage and family therapist. In addition to her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge and board certification (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
Abigail’s passion for mental health is intertwined with her passion for the arts. From an early age, she has been intrigued with the mechanism and use of creativity as an agent of change and avenue for human connection. This led Abigail to pursue a multidisciplinary education and gain clinical experience in a variety of service settings, with a bulk of her pre-counseling experience serving hospice patients and their families in end-of-life care.
Abigail strongly believes in each individual’s resourcefulness and authenticity. She is enthusiastic of the curiosity and collaboration that are afforded throughout the therapeutic alliance, and the chance to empower those she meets.
